Here is my eBook that is all about myself! I hope you enjoy the information you learn about me while experiencing the various tools and effects I learned to use through my technology course. This eBook showcases my knowledge regarding TPACK, as I have implemented the skills necessary to promote engagement through a slideshow presentation. Although it is not long, through TPACK, I have learned simple, but important, things to keep in mind when creating an intriguing and appealing slideshow. Some of these simple ideas include maintaining consistency through text (font and form) of the presentation, placing no more than 2 photos on a slide, incorporating videos and hyperlinks, and using original or copyright free graphics with proper citation and a credit page. Although these things may seem simple or menial tasks, every aspect of a slideshow has the ability to provide an engaging and appealing stimulus to engage audience members. This is an extremely important part of teaching, and is integrated through the TPACK knowledge I have gained through this technology course. Without engaged learners, students are not able to absorb and use the knowledge they have the ability to gain and therefore, the attempt at learning is meaningless and does not take place. With engaging slideshows and incorporation of technology, students are able to connect better with material as they can engage, and at times, interact with technology through videos or websites.
